Wood Stove Exchange Rebate Application
The Provincial Wood Stove Exchange Program provides rebates to eligible residents who remove a non-EPA certified wood-burning appliance used for home heating and replace it with a cleaner heating option.
The program is funded through the BC Lung Association and qathet Regional District to reduce particulate matter in the atmosphere and improve air quality.
|New Heating Appliance Type||2021 Rebate Amount|

Homeowners can apply through Efficiency BC to access additional rebates outside this program. For those exchanging their wood stove for an air sourced heat pump, some models are eligible through Fortis BC for additional savings. Local retailers may also offer additional in-house incentives.
